Events must be Coconut Grove related.

and other personal events -- it's a way to share your event and have it saved for posterity, too.

Ideas for coverage:

Chamber Luncheon held at Angelo and Maxie's yesterday

If the Mayfair Hotel came tumbling town yesterday, all the Grove's movers and shakers
would have been lost in the rubble and the Grove would have to manage without them.

Everyone who is anyone was at the Chamber installation luncheon at Angelo and Maxie's
all afternoon, feting the new officers and saying goodbye to the old.

Above are new officers: Willy Vega, treasurer; Manny Alonso Poch, secretary; Liliana Dones,
past president; Tony Noboa, new president; Mia Stierheim, executive vice president and
Monty Trainer, officer at large. Missing is Gary Ciuca, vice president.

Above are Richard Issa, from the BID; Camille DePhillips, of Prince Media Development;
Felice Dubin from The Bookstore and Village Council member; and Commissioner Marc
Sarnoff who was the featured speaker. At right are outgoing president Liliana Dones,
member of the Village Council with new Chamber president Tony Noboa of the
Coconut Grove Bank.
